Silly Pants

Aiden has a new 'thing' where he wants to wear his pajamas. all. the. time! I turn around for a minute and they magically appear on his body. It's like those kids you see at the mall wearing their Superman cape. You know their mom is thinking "Seriously, as long as he's happy, he can wear whatever he wants." That has been our mentality.

The other day, I could sense he was putting on his pajamas, as he said he was going to the bathroom and it had been over a minute. He came out wearing this lovely ensemble. I'm not even sure how many layers of pajamas he has on, not to mention his p.j. top that is on backwards. It makes me smile.

We signed Aiden up for swimming lessons, as well as a gymnastics class. Our local Parks and Rec center offer both classes for 3 years old and up so we jumped on it as soon as we found out. I love that the classes teach coordination, balance, organization, learning to follow orders, taking turns, etc. So many life lessons. And Aiden LOVES both classes. If you bring them up, he will tell you everything he did that day. It's very cute.

Last week, I told Aiden to get ready for swim class. Obediently, he went into his room to change. Only, he came walking to the door, wearing this interesting, but very Aiden-esque ensemble. Pajama top, swim shorts, and Spiderman slippers.

"I'm ready for swim class, mom!"
