Conversations with Aiden

We have been getting a kick out of Aiden lately! He is such a funny little guy, and always has been. Here are a few conversations we have had with our little man as of late:

Mommy: Aiden, I can’t believe you are 3!

Aiden: Ya.

M: How old is mommy?

A: I don’t know mom. You are just old.

Baby Gracie was crying in the car and Aiden says: Mom, she crying ‘cuz she doesn’t like Frank (I was listening to Sinatra). You need to turn it off!

A: Mom, you’re my best lucky day.

M: Aiden, how fast can you climb those stairs to the top of the green slide?
A: Mom, I can’t go fast. It’s too dangerous. I need to SLOW DOWN (said very slowly).

Gracie got sick a few weeks after Aiden had gone to the doctor for his 3 year check-up and shots. So, when I took her to the doctor and they called her name, Aiden yells “Nooooooooo! She not going! Nooooooo!”

Aiden was all tucked in his bed when he noticed George, his bear, on the other side of the room and said, “Oh man! I forgot my wings to fly to go get George. Hmph.”

We turned on the t.v. to see that ‘Minute-to-win-it” was on and Aiden exclaims: Oh! My show is on!!!

M: Aiden, what do you want for lunch?

A: Hmmm…. A hungry, hungry hippo.

Aiden drew a large oval on a piece of paper. A: Mom, what’s that?

M: An oval.

A: No, mom. It’s a racetrack (accompanied by an eye roll).

After drinking a carbonated fruit drink sample at Costco, Aiden exclaimed: Wow! This drink is spiky!

He's such a character. And very creative. After finding a stack of paper cups, he had his dad help him create this monstrosity (reference his previously stated favorite show):

He got a sweet set of blocks from grandma and grandpa for Christmas and spends hours every day building shooters, robots and anything he can come up with:
