Unlike our experience with Aiden, it has taken us a while to get pregnant. We actually experienced an early miscarriage in September, and since then, it was either the stress of school, my anxiousness to get pregnant, or Heavenly Father telling us the time wasn't right, but things didn't work out according to my plan. Imagine that! But, now that I have experienced more sickness than I ever did with Aiden, I am grateful things worked out the way they did! If I were this sick back in August, I would have REALLY struggled to make it through that tough semester. Not to mention being in my third trimester trying to make it through my grad recital. I barely made it through being only 10 weeks along!
We had our first OB apt at 8 weeks and saw the baby and its little heartbeat on the ultrasound. It is an absolute miracle. My doctor assured us that everything looks perfectly healthy and normal, with everything in its place, which was a huge relief for us considering the miscarriage. We are now 12 weeks along, still sick and exhausted, but happy as can be. We have been incredibly blessed and can't wait for the little munchkin to get here!
Any guesses on what we will have?

Congratulations! I'm way excited for you. Pregnancy the second time around is surprisingly different, and I hope that you'll have time away from school etc to enjoy the differences.

Congrats on your pregnancy and also on your grad recital...both are huge undertakings! I hope the morning sickenss passes soon, that is miserable! I'm glad you felt good about your recital. You have accomplished SO MUCH in the past two years! You are amazing!

Congratulations!!!! I just had my first appt today and unfortunately i'm only 8 weeks instead of the 12 that i thought!! argh!! 6 more weeks of sheer all day everyday bleh-ness.

yeah, Congrats. Things never work out as planned when planning a baby I have learned, but oh well, I am excited for you
My little guy was born 01/10/10. And our older son was born 08/18/08 Funny stuff!

CONGRATS! I think you will have a little brother for Aiden. He is so stinking cute. I love the popsicle picture, haha!
